NYStixs has teamed up with Bryant H.S Owls of Long Island City to get ready for the 2012 season, with new uniforms. Coach Rocco Rotondi wanted a whole new look for the JV and Varsity programs. After going over different uniform options and colors, Coach Rotondi settled on home white sleeveless with royal blue pinstripe uniform, with Owls in a 3 color design. The logo features a royal blue Owls, outlined with gold and white accent. Underneath a royal blue long sleeve or short sleeve shirt.

Its been a great 2010 so far for NYStixs wood bats. We had the pleasure of ton of new customer sales, as well as our repeat business. That being said, our appetite to have NYStixs in the hands of MLB players is growing.

So I will give you my theory on “how to pick a wood bat”, based on experience as a player. I will briefly list common thinking, questions I get from parents and players and the advice I give.
